Persuasive 2010 offers a doctoral
consortium for PhD students working with projects within the field of
persuasive technology and design or related areas.
The doctoral consortium will take place from June 5 to June 6, 2010 in
Copenhagen.
The doctoral consortium is organized jointly by Aalborg University and
The Royal School of Library and Information Science, both Denmark. The
doctoral consortium is chaired by Associated professor Marianne Lykke, RSLIS
and Professor Robert Biddle, Carleton University, Canada. The consortium
program consists of a combination of lectures by invited senior researchers,
workshops and student presentation.
Students selected for the doctoral consortium are expected to cover their
travel costs and pay a nominal participation fee (800 DKK).
All meals (incl. coffees, lunches, and dinners) during the event in
Copenhagen are covered by our sponsors. This includes a bike trip and dinner
in the vivacious, historical part of Copenhagen city. Although we will try
to get sponsors for the accommodation too, please note that until
further notice, accommodation is to be covered by students themselves.
