Poster sessionThe poster session will be
held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Royal School of Library
and Information Science
Authors of accepted poster papers (short papers accepted
in the poster category) shall prepare a poster illustrating
their contribution. Here are some guidelines for preparing
the posters:
Each poster will have a display space approximately 2m
wide by 1m high (8 feet wide and 4 feet high). The poster is
expected to follow the International Standards Organization
(ISO) poster size format (A0) in portrait orientation. The
dimensions for A0 format are 84cm x 119cm, or approximately
33" x 47".
Audiovisual and computing equipment will not be supplied.
Power outlets will not be available.
The inclusion of a packet of the author's business cards
or an envelope of fliers attached to the poster with a short
paper to elaborate on poster content has proved an effective
way to communicate with interested people when you are not
by your poster.
Instructions for presenters
In full paper sessions there are 20 minutes for each
presentation and 10 minutes for discussion of each paper.
In short paper sessions there are 10 minutes for each
presentation and 15 minutes panel discussion of all papers.
